Our Classes

This a one hour opportunity to experience what it’s like to express yourself with clay. You will get to create two pieces, one will be hand built and one on the wheel. You will get to choose how your piece will be glazed from a selection of glazes. Then you can pick up your finished pieces in 3 to 4 weeks or have them shipped to you. This class is for all experience levels, ages 5 and up.

4 two-hour classes

In these classes you will learn how to work with clay. Starting with the basics like wedging, centering, and throwing. We will also show you how to create using various hand building techniques such as coil building, slab rolling and pinch pots. We will work with your skill level and build on what you know (you don’t have to know anything). Have a project or goal in mind? We can teach you the skills you need to accomplish it.

Our pottery camp offers a chance for your child to have fun hand building pieces using pinch, slab, and coil building methods.

June 23rd to July 2nd the kids will get creative while receiving 18 hours of instruction. On July 7th we will have an art show to display all their work and celebrate before taking their pieces home.

Monday through Wednesday 10am -1pm

Clay, glaze, firing and snacks included

Ages 5-13

Welcome to the creative seeker’s family! Here at Soul Fire we aim to inspire the movement of the artistic process in you. Through our classes, we strive to provide you with the framework to freely express your vision through pottery.

When you sign up for a class with us you will be receiving instruction but will also get to take home something you made with your own hands. No more mass produced objects without personality. You will have a one of a kind piece of art in your home.

Meet the Artist

My name is Ayanna Siebelink, as the founder of Soul Fire it is my personal mission to share the gift of creative expression with others.

I am interested in creative processes that allow me to give a voice to the unconscious. My work is not born from finished ideas, but from instinctual responses that happen in the moment. Art making is a way for me to digest experiences from my life. I add elements from my dreams, or occurrences in nature that are significant to me. Through this work, I have found a sense of play within the uncertainty.
